Eddy Stone and the Mean Genie’s Curse

Simon Cherry

When Eddy Stone accidentally breaks an old table lamp one morning, to reveal a genie who grants one wish to everyone living in the seaside town of Tidemark Bay. it seems like it’s a lucky day.

But they soon find that wishes don’t always turn out like you expect them to, especially when they are being fulfilled by a well-meaning but incompetent junior genie. The gift turns out to be a curse, and by the afternoon the peace of the town is in tatters.

Can Eddy lift the curse by carrying out the genie’s own three wishes?

Can he think up a way to beat the challenge of building a magnificent palace in a single night without the use of magic?
