She was one of six shortlisted in the highly competitive Crime & Thriller category at the National Book Awards for The Chalk Man, alongside Ian Rankin, Robert Galbraith, Belinda Bauer, Erin Kelly and Val McDermid; some of the most celebrated crime writers the country has to offer.
To date, The Chalk Man has been shortlisted for the Crime Writers’ Association Steel Dagger Award, has sold into 40 territories and has amassed an enormous following of dedicated fans on social Media:

The Taking of Annie Thorne, will be published by Michael Joseph/Penguin Random House in February next year, and we can promise it will be just as chilling as its predecessor.
