Madeleine Milburn Weekly Highlights 15th – 21st September

What better way to end the week than with a grand reveal?

The cover for bestselling author Teresa Driscoll’s third psychological thriller, The Promise, is stunning and spooky in equal measures – we can’t get enough of it. The much anticipated novel will be published in February.

Theresa’s debut novel, I Am Watching You, is currently ranking at No. 13 in the US, and No. 4 in the Polish paperback charts after its launch there earlier in the week:

In other exciting news, C.J. Tudor’s The Chalk Man is still taking the UK by storm, ranking at No. 10 this week in the paperback charts, with 6,482 copies sold.  It continues to be lauded on social media:

Gail Honeyman‘s Eleanor Oliphant is still topping UK charts at No. 1, with 13,171 copies sold in the past week.  It currently ranks at No.3 in Ireland and is in the top 10 of the Italian charts.

On the foreign rights front, Spanish rights for Annie Ward’s Beautiful Bad were snapped up in a two book deal by Roca, and Russian rights went to Family Leisure Club.

The Swedish rights to Leah Hazard‘s brutally honest account of the labour ward in her debut novel Hard Pushed have gone to Nona.

And finally Dutch rights to Jane Healey‘s debut The Animals at Lockwood Manor, have gone to De Bezige Bij.
