C.J. Tudor’s The Chalk Man won Best First Novel at the ThrillerFest Awards in New York. C.J. attended the awards ceremony and said she was ‘honoured, thrilled, bemused, amazed and totally bowled over’ on receiving the prize.
The results of the Dead Good Reader Awards came in at Harrogate Crime Festival last weekend. Fiona Barton’s The Suspect won the “Nosy Parker Award for the Best Amateur Detective” and Mark Edwards’ Last of the Magpies won “The Cat and Mouse Award for Most Elusive Villain”. Huge congratulations to both!
Leah Hazard has been announced as the official Midwife for the online community Netmums. She will be providing expert advice to questions posted on the forum to do with anything pregnancy and baby related.
Holly Bourne’s bewitching novella, What Magic Is This? was published this week. Holly will be signing copies of the book at YALC this weekend.
