We’ve got some very exciting deal announcements in the highlights this week. But first, we’re kicking off with a colourful cover reveal!
It was announced this week that the brilliant, quirky, feel-good novel, The Maid by Nita Prose has sold to HarperCollins / HarperFiction following a heated six-way auction. US rights have sold to Penguin Random House / Ballantine, and Canadian rights to Penguin Canada. The novel has also sold into 20 international territories.

A full page interview with Elizabeth was also run across Canada this weekend, including the Vancouver Sun, Edmonton Journal, Ottawa Citizen, Regina Leader-Post, Saskatoon Star-Phoenix and the Montreal Gazette amongst many more.
A.J. Park’s The First Lie (Orion) received a brilliant review in The Daily Mail this week. They said: “Splendidly twisty, with a compelling inner momentum, it keeps its secrets until the final pages.”
It was announced this week that Rona has signed another deal with Bookouture for two more books, due to be published in 2021.
Gail Honeyman’s multi-award winning novel, Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine (Penguin Random House / Pamela Dorman Books) was back in the New York Times paperback list at No. 14 last week, taking it to an outstanding total of 85 weeks.
